Prizes for fund-raising
These are always in demand for especially for raffles and for bottle and tombola stalls at fayres etc. If you can help please hand them to Chris or Margaret or Karen.

Everyone is welcome to join the group which lasts for about 40 minutes.
Visit to Tong Church Tuesday 19th June
This will include a guided tour of the church,
(famous for it's English civil war damage), and tea.

Leaving from (Shareshill) church drive around 12:45 and returning to Shareshill around 17:00.
Speak to Chris Shaw for details as space in the minibus is limited!(01922 413864).

Socks for Homeless Men
Karen now regularly collects new (unused) socks for homeless men to help keep their feet healthy. You may be shocked to learn that some of them suffer from trench foot due to cold and damp conditions.
If you wish to donate any give them to Karen or leave them at the village shop.
Bonus Ball
The "Bonus Ball" has been raising money for church for a long time; funding among other things some of the replacement windows.
There are now some "spare" numbers available if you wish to join the scheme please see Jean Cox.
Food Bank
We are still collecting for the Food Bank. sItems can be left in the box at the back of church. Suggested items include: tetrapacks of UHT milk and fruit juice, soup, dried pasta and pasta sauces, tinned foods, teabags, instant coffee, instant mashed potato, non-food items such as soap, pet food etc.
Old style pound coins and banknotes
If you find you have any of the old pound coins or the old banknotes which are now out of circulation, You can give them to Janet Kendal who will get tyhem banked on behalf of church funds.
