The church was packed for this sell-out concert. Beth-Peach Robinson's sang a variety of pieces ranging from musicals to jazzed-up versions of sacred music.

The sound and style of the Jazz Band was magnificent, fully exploiting the superb accoustics of the building. A great credit to the students and their musical director.
The Senior Choir performed a varied range of pieces which drew well-deserved rapturous applause.
The Sixth Form Choir, drawn from the Senior Choir, also delighted the audience.
Both choirs are a credit to themselves, St. Peter's and to the hard work od their musical director.

The event raised £733 towards the cost of our planned extension which will provide a meeting room, office, inside toilets and kitchen facilities.
We are grateful to the students staff and parents of St Peter's who gave so generously of their time.

Great credit must go to George Stewart and Beth Peach-Robinson who had the original idea of the concert and planned it so well with the aid of a few twisted arms!

On Palm Sunday we continued our practice of starting the service outside the village post office, before processing behind the cross up to church. In April 2007 we drafted in a donkey to lead us!

Open Gardens 2006
This was the fourth such event, masterminded again my Geoff and Ann Legg.
The photographs are taken from the 2004 event.
The village population was supplemented by a collection scarecrows, some very realistic indeed.
Yes the white-suited "apiarist"" and "toddler" on a tricycle really are stuffed with straw.
