The village of Shareshill is located adjacent to the A460 a few miles north-east of Wolverhampton, between two motorway junctions: M6 junction 11 one mile to the north and M54 junction 1 one and a half miles to the south. Shareshill has a rich history rural setting with a network of rights of way with popular walking routes. The village has managed to retain it's school, pre-school, pub, shop and church, plus community groups such as the WI and Shareshill Bowling Club. For many years the village hosted a Steam and Vintage Fayre which attracted vehicle enthusiasts from around the Midlands.

Community Notices Shareshill now has 2 defibrillators; one on the outside wall of the village hall, the other by the shop. To access in an emergency dial 999 and ask the ambulance service for the code to open the box. There is also a BLEED KIT in the red cabinet by the village hall door - accessed by breaking the glass. Bulky Waste Householders can take their domestic and garden rubbish to their local tip/refuse centre FREE of charge. Bulky items can be collected by the council for which there will be a charge. Fly tipping fines have gone up from £400 to £1000. and can apply to householders using an unauthorised person. In addition to regular weekly work we have five churchyard tidy-ups a year when we welcome anyone prepared to come along and give an hour or two of their time to keep the churchyard in it's award-winning condition. Refreshments provided; bringing your own tools helps.
